Love And

there are two sides to everything
coins and stories and life
see there's love AND everything else
that takes up our time in between
affairs and relationships and breakups and makeups
i'm beginning to think we have a love jones for love
and nothing more
the particulars don't really matter so much
who when where etc...
just as long as we feel the jones inside us
and are hidden from that other side of the coin
the side where those cute lil habits
become the beginnings of fights
the side where love deluxe
is capsized by the lover's rock
and we all drown together
