Talk about it

Electronic circumstances plague our existence,
Buttons are pushed,
Controlling our lives,
As puppets we’re programmed,
Our randomness is order…
Processing thoughts synchronously.

Assembly-line ideologies, infest our thinking,
Recreating mainstream society.
Apathy and normality
Is the destruction of humankind.
Brave New World, here we come.

As apathetic voyeurs follow the herd,
Blindfolded with bandanas of context,
Society short-circuits its motherboard,
Replacing individual originality
With controlled flocks of stagnant migration,
While using synthetic insemination,
To breed ideas of conformity.

What direction does technology lead us
Where today’s machines are obsolete tomorrow?
What does it teach…?
Consume, capitalize, compulse…
But never contemplate the idea
That as one human race
We are 6 billion different thoughts
Interacting simultaneously.
Replicating evolutions intellectualism,
We divulge into vulgar sophistication,
Casting out everyone beneath us
With the conviction
That one human is better than another,
Rather than realizing,
That the collective consciousness of the universe
Binds us together
Into the oneness of everything
Uniquely.
